As a singer/ songwriter, Dominic has been active in professional folk and rock music for the better part of twenty-five years.
Describing music as a catharsis that helps him live life in color, Dominic
trained classically at the Catalano Conservatory of Music in Pennsylvania for two years for classical and jazz guitar. He also studied classical voice under Dr. Carol LoVerde at Columbia College in Chicago. As a diversified musician, he also was an upright bassist for the John Carroll University Jazz Ensemble for four years and had won awards at various jazz competitions such as the Tri-C Jazz Fest and the Boston College Jazz Invatitional. He was recognized by the International Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE) for his performances both on bass and guitar.
He graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH with degrees in Psychology and Communications. Upon his graduation, he was blessed to have worked in commercial radio in Cleveland at WNCX (98.5) and the former WENZ (107.9 The End) and was heavily involved in their coverage of the ribbon-cutting of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Having toured and recorded with many artists including his own band URN, Dominic's experience has allowed him to become one of the more engaging and passionate artists to see live.
As a solo artist, Dominic has performed all over the United States and Canada. Recently he has opened for notable many artists such as Mike Tramp (of White Lion), Gordon Lightfoot, John Corabi (of Motley Crue), Michael Sweet (of Stryper), Jasin Todd (formerly of Shinedown), Jason Delinson (Smile Empty Soul), and Wayland. He has also performed at many Irish and Folk music festivals and has performed several renaissance faires.
